  • Responsible for leading the creative team, developing creative guidelines, directing creative work, and many other related tasks
  • Meet work standards by following production, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving operational problems; identifying work process improvements
  • Meet cost standards by monitoring expenses; implementing cost-saving actions
  • Determine production requirements and schedule by conferring with cross-functional teams and clients’ expectations
  • Negotiate with clients to amend ideas in line with their wishes and explain what is and is not possible
  • Keep clients abreast of progress and answer their questions
  • Storyboard or translate ideas to the creative team of copywriters, designers and event coordinators
  • Attend strategy meetings for new business
  • Lead brainstorming sessions with creative teams to develop ad campaigns based on client needs.
  • Create advertising proposals for clients
  • Pitch (convincingly) concepts to clients
  • Lead multiple projects from conception to completion in accordance with deadlines
  • Hire, develop, and manage the creative team
  • Select external suppliers/freelancers when necessary
  • Produce sketches or “storyboards” to communicate ideas to clients
  • Gain understanding of the target audience and business that the advert is aimed at
  • Commission freelanced photographers, artists, and or film-makers to work on projects


  • 8 years or more of experience in advertising (Digital, TV, Radio, Print, Outdoor, and/or O2O)
  • Experience with photoshop, illustrator, InDesign, HTML5, Flash, PowerPoint and other related programs
  • Experience in content and online-to-offline ad campaigns production
  • The ability to lead and inspire a team of creative people
  • Solid background in copywriting, storyboarding, and/or design and art direction
  • Knowledge of each step of an ad campaign’s process to give creative direction, work on schedule and meet client’s advertising expectations
  • Experience working at creative agencies is ideal
  • University Degree a Must
