Responsibilities:
- Responsible for leading the creative team, developing creative guidelines, directing creative work, and many other related tasks
- Meet work standards by following production, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving operational problems; identifying work process improvements
- Meet cost standards by monitoring expenses; implementing cost-saving actions
- Determine production requirements and schedule by conferring with cross-functional teams and clients’ expectations
- Negotiate with clients to amend ideas in line with their wishes and explain what is and is not possible
- Keep clients abreast of progress and answer their questions
- Storyboard or translate ideas to the creative team of copywriters, designers and event coordinators
- Attend strategy meetings for new business
- Lead brainstorming sessions with creative teams to develop ad campaigns based on client needs.
- Create advertising proposals for clients
- Pitch (convincingly) concepts to clients
- Lead multiple projects from conception to completion in accordance with deadlines
- Hire, develop, and manage the creative team
- Select external suppliers/freelancers when necessary
- Produce sketches or “storyboards” to communicate ideas to clients
- Gain understanding of the target audience and business that the advert is aimed at
- Commission freelanced photographers, artists, and or film-makers to work on projects
Requirements:
- 8 years or more of experience in advertising (Digital, TV, Radio, Print, Outdoor, and/or O2O)
- Experience with photoshop, illustrator, InDesign, HTML5, Flash, PowerPoint and other related programs
- Experience in content and online-to-offline ad campaigns production
- The ability to lead and inspire a team of creative people
- Solid background in copywriting, storyboarding, and/or design and art direction
- Knowledge of each step of an ad campaign’s process to give creative direction, work on schedule and meet client’s advertising expectations
- Experience working at creative agencies is ideal
- University Degree a Must
